Dear Manfred and Maggie
We just wanted to thank you for the happy time we spent at "Medina" Longford Holiday Apartment. It was just like a home away from home. You have the unit fitted out beautifully for those who just want to spend one night there or for those who have the need to spend longer. We found the location quite central to many interesting sites and were able to catch up with some laundry and just relax a bit. Of the seven different units we stayed in during our 12 day stay in Tassie we found your unit to be the best. Everything that we could wish for was provided and you went the second mile with that delicious home-made rye-bread in the well-stocked larder.
Congratulations Maggie!
After leaving Longford we went up the west bank of the Tamar to Beauty Point and went through the seahorse farm. It was fascinating. Then we went across to Devonport and on the Saturday morning before the ship left we rode the Don River railway. The trip home to Sydney on the boat was a little choppy at first but then settled down to almost a dead calm.
We have just picked up our developed photos. They came out well and will bring back many memories, including the one I took of "Medina" Longford Holiday Apartment as we were leaving.
Our best wishes...
